Brian Holzhausen Bio
Brian Holzhausen is the
owner / Director of DINO LLC, an event management company specializing in
off-road running, cycling, and multi-sport.
DINO (Do INdiana Off-road) was
started in 1990 as a mountain bike race. In the mid 90’s, DINO mountain bike
racing hit its peak. Brian and his wife Amanda purchased DINO for the 2001
season and have been working to grow off-road racing in Indiana. In fall
2001, they added trail running to the calendar of events, and the following
year created the DINO Triathlon, part of the Nissan Xterra Point Series.
This year, DINO has added a second triathlon. The original triathlon is in
Logansport on July 29, and the inaugural DINO Triathlon New Castle will be
held on August 19. Both races feature a ½ mile swim, 10 mile mountain bike,
and 4 mile trail run.
Brian and Amanda have
competed in more than one hundred triathlons each, beginning in 1994. Brian
